Monday evening stock sorting
Every Monday we sort the donated food and stock our shelves ready for the week ahead. We need willing hands to unpack boxes, sort tins, rotate stock and keep the church hall tidy. No experience needed — just turn up, roll your sleeves up and help out. It's usually about two hours, starting at 6pm.
Saturday delivery drivers
Not everyone can get to the hall on Saturday morning. Our volunteer drivers take grocery bags out to people on the Eastfield estate and nearby who are housebound, ill or just can't make it in. You'll drive a familiar route, usually finishing by early afternoon. You'll need your own vehicle and a full driving licence.
Other ways to help
We also need volunteers to welcome people during handout sessions, pack grocery bags, help with admin and general support work. If you've got a couple of hours and want to be part of what we do, there's usually something that fits.
